Under the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations, any food, seed, or animal feed labeled organic must be certified according to the Canadian Organic Standards and is regulated by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).

QCS also offers certification under the U.S.–Canada Organic Equivalency Arrangement (USCOEA), which recognizes the USDA National Organic Program (NOP) andCOR standards as equivalent, with minor critical variances. If your operation is certified to the NOP, you can obtain a US-Canadian equivalency – for products that meet the terms of the arrangement – regardless of the location of your operation.
