On this page you can browse QCS’ Approved Inputs Database
and request new inputs be added to your Inputs List.
To search for a specific product, filter the results by
typing the Input name or Manufacturer name into the appropriate search box. You
can also narrow your search by filtering the results by Input Status,
Restriction or Services.
Once you have found the input you wish to request, check the
box next to the Input name. You may request multiple inputs at one time by
checking multiple boxes. When you have made your selections, click “Submit” in
the upper right corner. If your request has been successfully submitted, you
will be directed to a webpage confirming your submission. For more details on how to use this tool, see
a demonstration on our YouTube channel here: How to Request New Inputs
Online.
Helpful Terms:
Input Status – this column identifies the
product as “Allowed” or “Restricted” for use in organic production for the
designated service. Products with a “Restricted” status are allowed for use,
but you must follow the applicable use requirements listed in the “Restriction”
column.
Services – The service column provides information on
the scope(s) and standard(s) the product has been approved for. For example, a
product with the service “NOP Livestock” is allowed for use on organic
livestock operations with certification to the USDA-NOP organic standards. One
input may be approved for use in multiple scopes and standards.
