Hongzhu Ren

Hongzhu earned her Bachelor’s in Food Science at Rutgers University in New Jersey. Prior to QCS, she worked at a frozen fruit company as a microbiologist on a food safety and quality assurance team. She has both a strong academic background and rich industrial experience. She now lives in Virgnia with her boyfriend and her dog Luigi, a Bichon Frise that flew all the way from China with her. In her free time, she likes to explore new restaurants with friends, hike, paint, or just enjoy a cup of coffee at home. She is also a proud cancer survivor and a rare disease advocate.
