Tool for Processors & Handlers
The QCS team has developed an exciting new Organic Product Profile template for processors/handlers who are currently applying for or maintaining organic certification with QCS. This Excel workbook is a supplement to the Organic Handler/Processor Plan (OHP) and aims to increase the functionality and user-friendliness of the OHP by allowing producers to organize the requested information – their list of products requested for certification, list of organic ingredients & suppliers, and multi-ingredient product recipes – in one easy-to-update location.
Follow along below with our Processing & Handling Certification Manager, Lisa Easler, in her tutorial on how to use this tool. To download the workbook with an example and guide on enabling macros, click here: Organic Product Profile Workbook

Search & Request Inputs
The QCS online client portal has a game-changing new feature that allows clients of all certification scopes to request to add new inputs to their organic plan! You can also search through our internal materials list for approved inputs such as fertilizers, pesticides, and sanitizers. This list includes over 18,000 currently approved inputs listed with QCS as well as the Organic Material Review Institute (OMRI), Pennsylvania Certified Organic (PCO), and Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA). We’ve recorded a video tutorial of our Associate Director of Organic Certification, Anna Cesarotti, demonstrating how to use this valuable resource.
