Open Positions: 

Quality and Accreditation Specialist

Come join our team as the Quality and Accreditation Specialist! This position will assist the Quality and Accreditation Manager to coordinate and oversee quality systems and accreditation activities to ensure compliance with certification standards including Organic, ROC, and other schemes. Preferred candidates will have:
 
  • at least 2 years of experience in relevant policy development and training
  • experience with organic certification, inspections, or other relevant field of study
  • knowledge about the National Organic Program and/or other third party certification programs

Contract Inspector Opportunities with QCS for 2025 

Are you an experienced organic inspector looking to partner with a mission-driven organization? Quality Certification Services (QCS), one of the largest USDA-accredited certifiers in the southeastern United States, is seeking qualified Crop, Livestock, Handling and Aquaculture Inspectors to join our team in 2025. At QCS, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive certification services that promote and support sustainable and organic agriculture across diverse communities.

Our commitment to excellence is rooted in providing cost-effective and personalized services that prioritize sustainability and the needs of producers, processors, and handlers. We certify a wide range of agricultural products, from crops and livestock to aquaculture, and serve operations of all sizes worldwide. 

Opportunities for 2025 
We are seeking contract inspectors to fulfill specific needs in the following regions and/or needs: 

  • Bay Area, California: Handling inspections 
  • Midwest: Livestock inspections 
  • Deep South: Crop and Handling inspections 
  • Mid-Atlantic: Crop and Handling inspections 
  • Aquaculture Inspectors: Qualified under Canadian Organic Regime (COR) and European Union (EU) standards, with fluency in Spanish. 

We welcome applications from inspectors based in these regions or those who regularly travel to these areas and wish to expand their inspection portfolio. 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Experienced organic inspectors with expertise in crop, livestock, or handling operations. 
  • A thorough understanding of USDA National Organic Program standards. 
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills. 
  • Availability to travel within designated areas. 
  • A passion for supporting organic and sustainable agriculture.
